What Anna said. My Chuck wedges are 1.5 inches - my favourite heel height - and that's perfect. Like you, I do not like to wear heels, and sneaker or not - heels are heels.

Is there any reason you want them to be wedges rather than just flats? I think you'd look great in a pair of flat, coloured Chuck Taylors with your jeans (when you find them). I think a pop of colour on your feet would be fun!

I only wear flats unless it's a special occasion, and even then I am hesitant! I wouldn't consider wedge sneakers, as I choose sneakers for comfort, so it seems to defeat the purpose. Might be worth a try if you really love them, but I think the flats would really suit you!

Hmm, I don't wear heels nearly as often as I used to, but I bought some wedge sneakers (about 3") and they are SO comfortable. Because I didn't know if I would like the trend, mine are just from Target, but I find them really easy to wear.

Perhaps you would want to order several pairs or go to a B&M store to try some on before making a decision. Chucks (the standard flat ones) actually take a little bit of breaking in for me, and they aren't the most comfortable of shoes in any case, so I would be wary of assuming their wedges would be significantly more comfortable than their other shoes.

I have Dansko Veda's that I wear to work 8 hour shifts in a two story bar/restaurant, often carrying buckets of ice and other heavy things up and down the flights of stairs. they're comfy as can be. Not all wedges are, though.

If you don't wear heels all that often, wedge sneakers may be uncomfortable for you just because of the height. The Chucks are pretty low though, so they would probably work for you.
I think a lot of it depends on individual feet and shoe construction though. I have a pair of 3.5" heels that are super comfy and a pair of 2.5 that are almost unbearable, and for me it is about the flexibility of the leather. With that in mind, I would say as long as the wedge sneaker has flex, it stands a better chance of being comfortable.

Not *exactly* a sneaker but I ran across these while looking for sandals. They are oddly appealing to me.

I have a Schutz pair and they are comfortable in terms of having a soft toe/foot area, but they are a heel, and I do feel like my toes slide forward a bit in them. More comfortable than pumps, less comfortable than actual sneakers. Would not wear them to walk all day.

I only have one pair so I can't speak much beyond that. Mine are about three inches and they feel like a regular wedge of that height. I don't find that the sneaker effect necessarily adds to the overall comfort. That said, mine are pretty comfortable, but I do have shoes and boots of a similar height that are actually more comfortable. Every shoe and every foot is so different, I think you just have to test them out.

I think it depends on the specific sneaker. Wedges are generally comfortable.

Watch the heel height. They are more cushioned but still a heel. My See by Chloe wedge sneakers aren't as comfortable as my Isabel Marant's. I would try to stick to under two inches.

I don't wear wedge sneakers but I wear wedge ballet flats! The only thing to watch for is that it's still a heel so not as comfy as flats and they push your feet forward so you want to make sure there is room for toes.

I was originally leaning toward adding a pair of baby wedge Chucks in to my casual capsule (once I get jeans sorted, trying so hard to stick to this commitment!) like in Angie's post. I showed the post to DH and he immediately pointed out 3 pairs of wedge sneakers that he liked for me. Yes, I think he is way more adventurous with my fashion than I am!

Just wondering from sneaker owners if these are comfortable for fussy feet. I don't wear high heels and stick to height sunder 2 inches. The sneakers seem higher, but they are sneakers. Would love feedback from fellow YLFers as go the comfort of their wedges.
