We saw women in sundresses late in the evening. I don't know if that was typical. I think some kind of wrap/stole would be a good idea in case it's chilly or windy, like a pashmina. I suddenly have mid summer weddings to attend in Anchorage, and Honolulu a week later. Hawaii is "garden party formal" with the note outdoor and on grass. Alaska will semi formal in the land of the midnight sun.&nbsp;</p> <p>I tried on maybe 20+ dresses yesterday and this was the best compromise. It is returnable locally, so if I find something better, I'm good. Long and flowy, so I wouldn't need to wear hose in the tropical heat (a first for me and my white limbs!). </p> <p>I liked the lighter color, but non-white background. The neckline allows a regular bra and pectoral coverage, which is nice. The model must be very tall in the petite size, because I need a 2"+ heel for my 5'2" frame with the petite.&nbsp;</p> <p>Honest feedback? I am looking for better ideas, and/or ways to style and comfy WIDE shoes that will survive outdoor on grass (thinking silver or white wedge sandal?).
