I was with my sister when she tried these Wittners on 2 weeks ago. We are both cursed with ultrashort toes, so open toe designs rarely work for us - but she said that the mid heel height was just perfect, and that the style was surprisingly comfortable on her B/C width feet. She said she felt really secure in them; they did not slop around like regular slingbacks. I usually spend my summers in that kind of sandal, but every year I have to rehabituate my feet to them. It's not hard. You just start wearing them around the house (even a pair of cheap rubber flip-flops would do for the breaking in process) until your feet have toughened up a bit. Once I'm used to them again, I find them kinder on my feet, with fewer issues, than almost any other kind of sandal.</p> <p>Good luck with your hunt.</p> <p>On a totally different note, I hope that bride is really pretty.
