YES. White shoes look good with pastels. I also wear white shoes with white jeans. When you have blonde hair, white shoes are an easier item to bookend in an outfit. So to Ramya's point, I wore my white pumps with almost everything last Summer. In Winter, my white and cream booties work with just about every colour combination.

I think that either white, metallic or nude shades can look great. White is the boldest choice and can brighten an outfit. What do you feel most fab wearing?

It depends on the shoes. White pumps and sandals can look quite nice, but I also like a "nude" shoe with white or pastels.

I wear white booties (winter) and not white but light neutral coloured sandals in summer. I wear my booties mostly with black:) My hair is blonde and I find that the bookending makes it work for me. It did take a while for eye to adjust but now I love white footwear.

My take on this is that white shoes goes with everything but white:) Of course a little bookending is great, but there's no need for a white skirt, dress or pants for this to work.

It depends I guess. Angie wore her white pumps with almost everything last summer. Just checkout her outfits .
Where as me, I am yet in search of the white shoes for me

I am not hung up on the old rules about wearing white shoes-like not before Memorial day or after labor day, but the one about wearing white shoes only with white and only for daytime was one I sort o f had stuck in my head for a while. about two summers ago I bought a pair of white sandals wore them maybe 3 times. They were worn with white linen skirt and white linen pants. They went into the big outed bag with the big purge as they were in the hurt feet category. I will still be wearing the whites this spring summer, but will be adding pastels to my summer wardrobe. I have not been a big fan of pastels, but somehow they are speeking to me now. So my question is do white shoes look good with pastels or should one stick to neutrals like bone, beige, nude, grey, silver or such? Just found a pair of great looking white flats but wondering if they would be a good investment. Since the purge I only have nude heels and silver sandals for summer wear.
