I think you are on to something with revealing the pearl trim on the sleeve of the sweater and the nubbly texture of the sweater. </p> <p>Alternative styling suggestions : with your trim figure, I wonder if you could get away with (1) overlapping the sweater and belting it? It might be too bulky for that, or it might provide you with an another styling option. You could also (2) switch out the dark bottoms for your jeans (with cuffs rolled). Here is the outfit, which I’m pleased to say met my expectations. I hadn’t even tried it on together until getting ready for church this morning. Comments for improvement welcome.
