It has SPF 50+. I have another broader brimmed hat from EJ. Much older. This hat is kind of stiff, so not going to be easy to pack. However it's great for walks around the neighborhood. My other hat is made for packing, soft and squishy, but the broader brim makes it susceptible to flying off in a sudden breeze. This hasn't happened so far with the fedora.</p> <p><b>Cardiff girl,&nbsp;</b>this is just for watering and sweeping up the pavement.
