Last fall, I was assessing my cold weather wardrobe options and realized that most of what I had was dark; all of my shoes and boots were black. At one time, that worked for me, but it doesn't anymore. So, I simply added some pewter booties to the mix (which I'm wearing in this shot), along with some lighter tops. It might sound like a small change, but it's left me feeling so much lighter and brighter during the dreary winter months. </p>
