Another thing you could do is take your skirt to a tailor and see if you could get it lined.

I'm giving Cricket's suggestion some thought. My skirt doesn't ride up as much with standard Hue tights, but I found the coolest cabled gray tights today that I'm certain won't play nice with denim.

Maybe I'll just add a non-slit skirt to my holiday wish list. That and a new slip!

oh, no you're right about the slit and the slip- that would be a hassle. I guess my skirt doesn't have a slit up the back, or I just wear my slip happily ignorant :-)

I'm with you though, I'd love to hear if anyone has the secret to this dilemma.

Queenie, I just dislike yet another layer of material. I'm so used to lined skirts.

That, and the fact this denim skirt has a slit in the back. So I've got to get the skirt and slip lined up just right and hope they don't shift around during the day. It feels like just something else to keep an eye on during a busy day. Or maybe I'm crying too much:D

I had that problem when I wore leggings under my denim skirt. I put a slip on and that helped. Why do you oppose wearing a slip?

Have you tried different brands of tights? I have some that stick to my denim and some that don't.

How do you all do this? My denim skirt, which I love with bare legs, just isn't wearable as it creeps up my legs when I'm wearing tights. Is a slip (gah) the only answer to this or is there an insider fashion shortcut to keep my skirt from turning into a miniskirt?
