I never would've believed it but it's true and they can take a simple outfit and make it pop.  Check out the basic outfit and how the gold shoes make it look finished. Unbelievable. I just bought a pair of shoes in silver and gold. I loved them so much in gold, I decided to buy the silver when they went on sale. I never would've even considered metallic shoes but last summer my mom bought me a pair of silver and gold strappy sandals and I found myself wearing them all the time. I was shocked at how much they went with and how well they added a little pizzazz to my look.  I'm in love with that chain bag, btw. And the navy/light denim/silver outfit sounds great.  Here are the silver and gold shoes I bought. I'm either a 6.5 and or a 7 and the 7 fit perfect. Emily K on "We talked about it and then I did it--making a silver capsule" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/we-talked-about-it-and-then-i-did-it--making-a-silver-capsule#post-1883999 Mon, 29 Jan 2018 20:14:26 +0000 Emily K 1883999@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ It was mentioned a couple of times in the forum recently--adding interest or sparkle by incorporating silver shoes and accessories.  I decided to take action and have gone on a little bit of a splurge.  I've bought a pair of silver loafers (second and third pairs are on their way--Sam Edelman runs big!), a pair of silver sneakers (a second, smaller pair is on the way to me), and a silver/platinum chain bag (Yes!  Me with a chain bag!  But, actually, I like the way the brighter/whiter silver chain looks with the darker platinum leather) and I'm on the hunt for a silver foil graphic tee similar to the one shown.  I'm also on the hunt for really light wash straight cropped jeans.  I think light wash looks good with silver shoes and I had an epiphany that light wash denim will complement navy tops and overcome the difficulty I experience in matching those items in my wardrobe.  All ideas yet to be tested  Outfit photos to come (eventually) when I get the fit issues squared away..or in Summer, whichever comes first
