We were on vacation in Maui last week and DH and I had gone out for dinner on Friday and shopped at the mall there, which is where we saw the jacket. So yesterday morning, we were leaving for the airport and I asked him to stop by the mall on the way to the airport and he said I had five minutes. I rushed in there, coupon in hand, and the SA said "You look like you're on a mission!" I went straight for the jacket, quickly tried on the XS (as Kate suggested, but the XS was too tight) so I stuck with the S. She rang me up and I got my $20 off (plus a $20 promotional gift card to use later). She asked, "Do you want a bag?" and I said no, tore off the tags, and wore it right out of the store. Yay Team Wear! And we made it to the airport in time! Which was good, because DH almost missed the flight on the way to Hawaii, because he had to go back to get the car seats that we forgot to take out of our car. I was waiting with the kids inside the airplane and they were even closing the airplane door but he made it onto the plane just in the nick of time without even a minute to spare! So he was understandably nervous about leaving on time, so it was so sweet that he let me stop to get the jacket. I am going to have to buy a steamer to try to get the wrinkles out, but I think it's going to be cute and at least I know he likes it! If you do buy it, ask them to steam out the wrinkles at the store. That is what I did with my winter coat. They should be able to do this for you, and once it is done, it will fall much more nicely. </p> <p>I love the orange dress on you and think you should get it in the M. The WHBM dress is nice, but not as special. Definitely go with a bigger size. I wish it was a bit shorter on you but with a tapered hem and heels it still works.<br /> WHBM dress is nice but not as spectacular as Anthro one. The hem is not tapered and it makes it less flattering IMO.<br /> I like the jacket. My blue jacket had wrinkles too and I steam them away. They did not appear after that. Which color do you prefer on me? Purple is size M and orange is size S. But please excuse the pregnant looking belly in the orange one, ugggh. I guess apples have to size up in this dress. I didn't have time to try on the M in the orange so the faux preggo pic is all I have in that color--hurry up and weigh in on the colors so I can delete it! ;-). Also, here is another version of a striped dress I found at White House Black Market--this one is black with white horizontal stripes but a ruched panel at the waist, and a shorter length. Are any of these three worth getting?</p> <p>I had hubby with me when I went to WHBM (my first time in that store) since we had just gone out on a dinner date at a restaurant in the shopping center. He pointed out this jacket so I tried it on. It's a light cream colored jacket with contrasting black ribbon trim. He said he could see me wearing it with dark jeans for a dressy casual look, or possibly to work over the black &amp; white striped dress. He rarely tells me what he likes and we rarely have a chance to shop together, so it means a lot to me when he says he likes something on me. But I didn't get it because 1) I wasn't sure about the wrinkliness of the fabric and whether it was supposed to be that way (all of the jackets were similarly slightly wrinkly though) 2) I had a coupon at home and I didn't want to get it without the coupon. But I can go back and get it if you think it's worth it! Thanks for your input! </p>
