This is still a work in progress. Last summer I felt kind of drab with my neutrals so I wanted to change things up and not play it safe with plain black or denim bottoms. I’m not 100% on these combinations, but it is a start. I’m also relieved to know that it doesn’t look OTT. Summer is especially challenging because there's not much layering going on to add interest--usually just a top and bottom and sandals. I find these kind of outfits the hardest to make look put together. I'm raising the white flag early and abandoning the UWP's for summer--it’s just too hard to stay cool and look like a warrior--I hope to re-join the ranks in the fall.<br /> @Runcaria: Yes, the blue and yellow shorts are the new ones. The striped jacket is an inexpensive topper that I picked up last year. It hasn’t gotten much wear--I’m just starting to adjust my eye to the bold stripes on me.
