:D I have always wanted to learn how to the do the style, where you have a triangle in the front with the tassels showing from behind it. The "muffler II" look from scarves.net is it!! SO happy dance:D My new shawl/scarves have these tassels in them that would look fab , styled that way.

Hello! I have used the scarves.net site that Inge mentioned, many times. For a while, I picked a new knot per week so that I could maybe memorize how to do some of them. However, it didn't work out...I kept forgetting anyway! :^) I can't wait to check out Viva's link.

I just posted this for Ceit -- I saw it today on facebook. It's a helpful, beautifully produced video by Nordstrom on how to tie scarves. There are several approaches I have not seen before, and it's quite useful in its approach -- shouldn't be too hard to duplicate the methods the model shows here.

A big welcome, Archoo. Sounds like you are having lots of fun exploring your style:-) And that is brilliant. Don't hesitate to post questions on the forum, we are here to help. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your style better.

As far as scarves are concerned, perhaps these posts can help:

http://youlookfab.com/2012/10/.....-for-fall/

In the two posts above, I believe Angie has tied a knot in a regular scarf to make it into an infinity scarf, which she then loops around her neck a couple of times. I've been wearing my scarves mostly like this all Winter, as it feels most fresh and modern to my eye right now. But there are lots of other ways to tie a scarf, and it's fun to experiment with the different looks.

HI,
Newbie here. I have just started learning about what an outfit means. Before that my standard outfit was a jean, graphic tee + sneakers, usually monochromatic. In winter I added a sweater and a overcoat. I have come to discover a lot of fun stuff like co-ordinating outfits by colors, textures and patterns. Since then I have stocked up on cardigans, blouses , colorful tights, shoes & jewellery . Then I learnt about body shapes, I am a petite apple . So I am putting my shopping spree on hold before I learn more.
This blog is an awesome source of inspiration for lots of new ideas.

As for my scarves, I bought 4 solid pashmina scarves in maroon, green, mustard and hot pink. Any suggestions on how to wear them / build around them would be appreciated.
