if you click on &#034;view forum posts&#034; underneath a forum member's avatar and scroll down on that page you get a list of the threads started by that person in chronological order, which gives you a good idea of what they have been up to lately. Plus, you can click through to any threads you would like to read.

As I'm trying to spend less overall time here, I also want to quickly catch up with several people in particular, rather than wade through 3 pages of recent posts.  Just curious if it's a possibility.&#060;br /&#062;
Not that I want to shut anyone out in particular lol (well, maybe be able to block PM's by name but that's another story).
