I have a black polyester utility jacket by Cole Haan that I love the vibe of, but I don't wear it very often because the poly and nylon fabric makes me feel sticky, especially if I want to wear it as a layer over short sleeves (more often than not even if it is raining here). </p> <p>Would waxed cotton be a solution to this problem (assuming the lining is not polyester as well)? Or does the waxed coating prevent your body from breathing the same as poly would? </p>
