You are an instigator Angie! Very naughty.

I know you're pulling for bangs Renata. I'm going to go for them when my hair gets a bit longer. I have pretty short layers already but the wide plates don't work on them.

This looks great, and I'm sure you can achieve a more edgy look with a slightly smaller iron. I'm guessing that since your hair isn't naturally super straight it should be able to hold some curls/waves just fine!

Also, are you thinking you'll straighten it before adding the waves or start making waves from it's natural state? I imagine that these would produce different results, though I have no experience with this.

Thanks for all the compliments. You guys are making me wish this was my natural texture!

I found a coupon and ordered the 3/4" one. The difference between the 1 1/4" one that I have and the 1" one is too trivial for me to justify owning both. Judging from the experiment I did today, 3/4" should work for both my longer hairs, as well as the shorter hairs around the nape.

Maya, your hair looks fantastic:) I love the flippy little ends.

I'm not sure that I'd go smaller than 3/4" in a flat iron. Too narrow and you'll end up with less of a curve in your hair and more of an angle, if that makes sense.

YES! Yes! Yes! Its such a fabulous look on you...and go for a smaller one too, just so you can really play it up =)

I, of course, envy curls with a passion...curls only last about 2 hrs in my hair, with with feels like a whole bottle of hair spray. So put up more pics and let me live vicariously?

YESSSSS, I LOVE your hair with movement, super cute and a nice change from the straight each day:)
I would recommend that you do get a smaller flat iron. Perhaps a one inch:) I have the 2 sizes you have and a mini as well, I don't use them on me but the smaller ones work great for me professionally speaking and would be great for you too:)

Continuing from my other post, I'm trying to determine if I should get a slightly narrower flat iron for the purposes of adding curl and wave to my hair. My current one is 1.25" and these are the results of my little experiment:

http://img.photobucket.com/alb.....G_2457.jpg

I think the main difference is that a smaller one would just be easier to use and give me more versatility. Right now I can only do really big loose waves, but a smaller size would tighten them up a little and give me the option of curling as well.

I'm still not sure if I should get 1", 3/4", or .5". Maybe Taylor and Renata can give me some guidance on that. But I don't want to bother if it doesn't look good.
