Polly - thanks for doing a search for me, if you could keep an eye out that would be great!

Lynne - a rain hat may be the perfect solution. I do like hats, but at the moment my default hairdo is a pony tail, which restricts me a little bit with hat wearing.

Sorry, Fi. I spent quite a bit of time searching Lands End, M&S, John Lewis, Boden, ASOS. no joy, but I'll keep an eye out. I just remember years of getting wet in Cornwall... The rain hat idea sounds practical, though.

Fi, I wore a rain hat last year - stay with me here! - and it worked well as it had a brim that kept the wather a good few inches from my face. I wore it with my normal trench.....I liked it becouse it didn't block out my side vision the way that hoods do. Maybe this would be another possibility?

Hi All,

I am keeping in touch were possible, but life with a newborn, doesn't leave me with too much time to post on YLF. I am gradually adjusting my life and therefore my wardrobe to become more practical for my new stay at home lifestyle and also to meet the practical requirements for breastfeeding my little girl.

One item of clothing that I am missing and is a reasonably immediate requirement for the wet London Spring is a waterproof trench with a hood. I have a good trench without a hood, but this isn't practical for walking in the rain with a pram as I can't use an umbrella.

Have any Euro girls seen any reasonably priced versions (preferably available online)?

Thank you!
