				<description>&#060;p&#062;Thanks Angie! I have a leather pair of La Canadiennes that is super waterproof, but I wasn't sure about how the salt would treat the suede, since it might not be as easy to wipe off with a wet cloth. But I will take your word for it! Thanks again for responding.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Does anyone have experience with the waterproof suede boots of the type made by La Canadienne and/or other brands? Are these boots really waterproof? Does the snow/rain/salt damage the suede? La Canadienne has several styles of boots in suede that are cute, but I live in a snowy climate and am skeptical that these boots would survive a winter here. I also don't want to waste my boot dollars on boots I cannot wear in the snow. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
