Angie, Stainless steel(already have), cobalt blue or red. Thank you for
the great color options. If I already had a white watch I might continue wearing it into the fall but I don't have one so colbalt or red are great
fall and winter colors to look for. They'd really brighten up my winter days!
I have to beware of that black rut... White sounds like it would fit into the minimalist trend with a black outfit.

A red watch sounds great. I wish that I had money for this one:

I plan to wear my white ceramic watch through Winter. It matches my new black and white specs and seems season-less. ipods don’t look out of place in colder months either. It’s sort of the same thing. (White is the colour of snow!) I have an uber stylish German friend who wears her ceramic Chanel watch all year and it looks fab. White denim, however, is a different story.

Stainless steel, red or a cobalt blue get my vote too. If you tend to wear lots of black tops in colder months, stay away from a black watch. Beware of “black- rutting”.

Jennifer, I do have a few other watches that I will wear. But I really hadn't thought too much about it, to be honest. I usually buy cheap-o watches on whims. (That's how I got my white one--$20 from Avon). I have an orange one (also from avon) that I may wear in the fall--but it's kind of heavy and glonky. I also have a gold and silver Bulova, but I need to have the clasp repaired. It keeps coming undone.

I think I'd like to find a non-bangle style watch this time--maybe something with a wide, leather, but soft strap...in a fun color.

Jennifer, I did put it away when I found a white watch. I wish my white watch were bigger to make more of a statement and will probably replace it now that I know I like the idea. I'm not sure yet if I'll continue to wear it this winter.

Nicole, I like the sound of a cream or brown winter watch.
and Joy you were happy with the large face, man's type of watch with a brown leather strap. Joy, did you put it away for the summer?
Nicole what will you be wearing for a watch this fall and winter? Do you have somethng from last year or are you looking? Great ideas...

I don't plan to wear my white watch in the winter.

Ana mentioned in another post, that she was looking for a cream watch to replace her white one for the winter. I think that's a Fab Idea!

I like Angie's choice of watches in her Flop-proof outfits. The silver metal ones from the second outfit yesterday and

http://youlookfab.com/2008/07/.....-outfit-2/

look like good choices if you don't want white. Last winter I wore a large man's watch on a brown leather band and got lots of compliments it. It looks like the largest watch that you can get away with for your size and bone structure may be the best choice right now.

I've followed the posts on the white ceramic watches that Angie and many of the YLF members are wearing. (By the way, I saw Katie Couric with a fabulous white watch recently when she was on The View). I think that they are smart and beautiful but I'm not quite sold on wearing a white watch all winter (personal preference). Does anyone have any thoughts on a watch for winter that might have as much punch? I wear a watch everyday. It's a staple of my
outfit and I like to stay with one signature watch. Any thoughts? I'd like to hear what everyone thinks and Angie's comments on the topic of a winter watch other then white would be great. I've been wearing a stainless steel link watch but recently it's been discoloring my wrist. That made me think of getting something a little different for this winter. Thanks you.
