They are about 1/2 - 3/4" shorter (that may be from a bit closer fit)- and fit a bit slimmer after washing - not dissimilar to when they arrive fresh from the cleaners. they did require pressing and I used a pressing cloth (old split apart pillowcase) to prevent iron "shine" - I think they may have shrunk a bit but they are definitely not shrunk so much as to be unwearable.&nbsp; The stain did come out - YAY</p> <p>&nbsp;But they required a significant amount of TLC - hand wash - dry in the stretchers - and then ironing!! SO would I wash them again? I'm undecided at this point.&nbsp; I usually run my other Sloans thru the dryer with Dryell a couple times before I actually send them to the cleaners. That is quick and easy&nbsp;- doesn't have the horrible chemical dry cleaning footprint, etc. I'm looking for a green cleaner closer to my office so it doesn't have to be such a chore to get to the dry cleaners!!</p> <p>Good Luck everyone - I really felt like I was channeling my inner Crazy Laundry on this one!!</p> <p></p> <p>And to all of you who had never heard of pant stretchers - I'm assuming my Grama was just much older than yours!! - That's my story and I'm sticking to it!! I have just been letting them air dry and will take them to the dry cleaners this weekend. They shrunk a bit all over plus they got a sheen from ironing.
