They're probably better suited to winter but they seem to work to keep my feet cushioned. Like in many Asian households, I grew up with a no shoes inside rule so I don't like to wear anything with a real sole inside. Plus, I am afraid they will scratch up our wood floors. They won't last forever but can be very inexpensive on sale and can be tossed in the washer. Most of mine are from Hue found in the stockings section of the store. I've also found these to be perfect for summer air travel with slip-on shoes so you won't be barefoot going through security, and they can double as travel slippers.
