That's called a signature style!&nbsp;</p> <p>It's only if it's boring to <b>you</b> that it's a "rut."&nbsp;</p> <p>The way out is to consider your lifestyle and your needs (because you don't want to shop for a fantasy life). Maybe make a Pinterest board of looks that appeal to you. And, I didn't. At least, I didn't think I did...</p> <p>But I just went through my wardrobe - I didn't realize until just now that I own literally 7 non-cat non-tartan non-basics-black items.<i><b> And 3 of those are pajama pieces.&nbsp;</b></i></p> <p>This is making me think again about the complete lack of variety in my wardrobe. I wear all of it, but I'm beginning to question everything - doesn't help that I live in the dorms where every day seems to be a fashion show.&nbsp;</p> <p>Anyway, do you have any items that you happen to have a lot of, just because? And do you think I should try actively looking for other things? I want to try, but I've stuck with the same stuff so long I don't know what I can and cannot pull off anymore, let alone where to start looking.</p> <p> </p>
