I wish I had realized how special the app I tried for a while was! It did crawl through my email and enter everything into a db for me to check. I can't remember it's name, darn it.

Not a 100% solution for wardrobe tracking, but a budget app like Mint could at least sort out and track purchases by category -- so all the apparel purchases would be grouped together. IME, these apps still involve some tinkering and manual input because expenses get mis-sorted all the time. If you order a coffee at the bookstore, does Mint think that's a "restaurant and cafe" purchase or a "books and magazines" purchase? Etc.

Yeah, Stylebook won't put prices or dates in for her. I find Stylebook requires a lot of manual inputting of data, calendaring, sorting, etc. I use a spreadsheet (again, manually input) and haven't found anything that will do the inputting automatically.

Thanks for pointing out the problem, TG! I tried to fix the original post. Does it make sense now?

FI, can you clarify what you mean by pulling purchases from her email? Does she want an app that scans through her email rather than her inputting ...? Or am I misunderstanding ...

A friend wants to start tracking wears. She buys much of her wardrobe online, so prices are in her emails. Rather than trying to remember everywhere she has purchased from and looking up all those emails by hand, she wants software that will do it for her. I recall one from a couple years ago that kept track of what you had purchased, and the last possible date to return it. It put the item in your wardrobe DB, and reminded you of the return date (unless you had turned it off for that item). I don't recall the name of the app, and really, it doesn't need to be that one. She just needs one that will troll her email to collect all her purchases and put them together in one place. What apps would you recommend?
