Christina F. -- ha! I won't be wearing jeans, but similar concept. Would keep other elements neutral/ polished. Plus the lab coat is covering most up, which means it's more just like wearing a print top of any sort, but I get a color I like.

I have a lot of blue as well, more than any other color for sure. I wonder if warm weather tops are typically just not that available in berry tones? It's been hard for me to find many. I have a couple of tees but those are for very casual wear. I have one burgundy embroidered tank but don't wear it on a regular rotation. And I have one silk short sleeved pattern tee and one linen "sweater" that is actually too warm for my hot weather use so it's more of a fall item still. There is definitely a small area in the closet in my "red" area (I hang by color). Blue, white, charcoal and olive dominate.

I have a berry handbag and sandals to try and break up all the blue.

About the Loft top, I'm totally wearing it to work today! My workplace is more casual (for my role, which doesn't interact with donors), but I have really dark black jeans (look like pants from afar) and pewter perforated flats on with it. I'm pleased I can make it work for work (haha), as I think it's light enough to wear on summer mornings but will help keep me covered in the office a/c.

There is a lot of blue out there. I'm always attracted to blue and green and have to make an effort not to buy it sometimes. Not always successfully! I'd like to see more berry, though! I have a berry coat I love so much that I found it's doppelgänger on eBay when it fell apart.

Anyway, I think millenilal pink may be taking over for blue now.

I feel like I have too much blue and brown and not enough grey in my closet. I look good in blues so I'm not mad about it, it just feels unbalanced (if that makes sense). I also have too many browns but they don't show dirt so for now they stay because we are building a little house and the money is better spent that way

Color my summers blue. I love the color anyway, so have lots of it in my wardrobe. So much blue, in fact, I'm currently on the lookout for everything but blue (including the blue-greens I so love). White. Pretty floral with reds or purples. I find patterns, and especially florals, best for pulling in those "hot" colors for summer.

And still I bought one new blouse with blue vertical stripes. Because cute. And blue.

So summer and blue. For autumn, though, I am hopeful for berry colors.

I could repeat your post word for word. Blues replacing beloved berries. I don't know when or how this happened. It was never a conscious decision. Is it possible that there are just more navy and blue represented in retail?

Yeah, I totally identify with this. I end up wearing more blue that I would like in summer, since it is such a popular color for warm weather clothing., especially the more classic styles I favor.
My summer "red" is coral - it doesn't seem popuar right now either, but I am stalking what I can find.
That loft lemming top is so pretty. It seems to flatter everyone who tries it!

Suz, the blues were made for you! But I think I look better in the " red" family.

GenuineJoan, that is something to consider! A lot of knit tops in a nice style or fabric come in white, but I don't wear that much. I haven't dyed anything in ages, but maybe should consider.

Have you tried dying any of your items to a darker blue, or even a rich purple? I often get clothing in cotton, linen, hemp, etc. that isn't quite the right color, and then dye it. Especially if I'm not wearing it as is, I figure I've got nothing to lose. If I don't like the result, well, I wasn't wearing it anyway, and then give it to Goodwill. If I do like the result, now I have a "new" shirt that I'll actually wear.

Ha! Well, you know me, Queen of the Blues...

In all seriousness, I do want to add back in some reds, berries, and fuchsias... but...at the same time, I'm looking at what's there and admitting, you know what? This is a signature style!

Blue (mostly navy but some royal) and white for summer, with hits of grey and a few bits of cognac, hot pink, cobalt, red primarily in accessories.

Blue (mostly navy and ink) and grey (charcoal and light grey) with white, red/ burgundy, berry/ fuchsia and maybe teal or purple accents in winter.

For travel, it works easily.

I know you are in a warmer climate so scarves may not be ideal in summer (and may not be good for work, period). But for casual occasions, a gauzy scarf in one of your favourite berry tones could solve a multitude of retail gaps.

Not blue as in really unhappy. But my wardrobe, tops especially, is running more to blues than I would like. In only si- so for blues as a face color. Teal is good. Medium blues are okay. But it has seemed that my happy berry colors weren't showing up in the pieces I needed. And the ones I had either are fadin/ phasing out do to fit or other things- I shrank my fab AT raspberry linen top, that I loved last summer, by forgetting to take it out of the dryer!
I recently packed a casual travel capsule and nearly everything was blue or gray! I did have the Loft dark pink pants but my tops were blue!
I know I still love the berries because I have I a few items and they are very happy-feeling.

I want able to check out Angie's Loft top at first because I didn't have time. Then was determine to get back to those colors-but it went off sale except for some BOGO deal I didn't want. . Buy full price, , yada, but it irked me for a casual top, so I walked. Then back on sale and I decided to get because it goes with quite a few bottoms. Even though it is casual I may wear it to work with black cropped pants and dressy flats.

How about you? Had your wardrobe veered into a color zone that's ok but not ideal? I want to steer back, so I guess I need to put the kabosh on any more blues.
