I'm feeling much better. I've been making a huge effort since it happened to get enough fluids; I struggle with that when the weather isn't warm. Not being adequately hydrated could definitely have been a contributing factor.</p> <p>And I can't say enough about how warm and comforting my poncho was for the occasion! Of course when I decided to wear it as my outer layer to go to work, I had no idea I'd be in the ER later. While at work this morning, I was abruptly hit with an intense pain on my left side. One trip to the ER, a few tests, and several hours later, I was diagnosed with kidney stones. Thankfully, the pain subsided a couple hours later. But I was so glad I'd chosen to wear my poncho today. I spent the afternoon warm and relatively comfy wearing it over the hospital gown. I had to leave the room a couple times and appreciated the modesty the poncho provided. It actually worked better for the situation than a coat or jacket would have. </p>
