They try to save money by substituting for natural fibers, but want us to pay just as much. I think it's actually the same for normal clothes too, all these synthetics for too high prices. Add to that the lack of choices in maternity clothing... I still think the peasant dress might be worth a try. Maybe you could wear it now belted as it is and shorten it later to wear it as a tunic top. The first mama purchase I am actually excited about. (Except for my new boots, which don't really count.)</p> <p>Astrid, I didn't order any of those other things yet. I am so frustrated that so much maternity stuff is made out of synthetic fabrics and it's still really expensive! I am still debating the tank tops though, because a viscose tank top isn't so bad for breathability. My office gets really stuffy in the summer, even when it is only in the 20's (70's F). Even though I really like the summer dress (cotton) I am having a hard time envisioning it in September or October, and it would really have to go the mileage for that price. I was really thinking about the peasant dress (still am) but since Kelly and Christy are both my size-ish and warned me that I might just feel huge in it later on, I am a bit worried about that.
