I've snagged many a sweater while cutting out the itchy but tightly attached label. 'Irrationally angry' is *exactly* how I feel! If you think the repair is too obvious, a good tailor or specialty knit shop might be able to help. And you are right: most of the time people don't notice a darn. Knits are fluid and always in motion on the body so fixes aren't as obvious. I darned it as best I could but I know the hole's still there. Grrr. </p> <p>I'm really annoyed because I hunted for the perfect versatile cardigan for a couple of years before I bought this one. It's just the right length and a uniquely flattering shape. Sigh. Time to start hunting for another one, I guess!</p> <p>Has anyone ever felt irrationally angry when something like this happens? It seems kind of silly to be upset about a cardigan, but dang it, it was the best one! </p>
