I like it! Ditto what the ladies said about unbelting.

I like the top but would also like to see it unbelted. Maybe with a cropped/short jacket or something to still give you shape. I am not sure if the belt is working with the empire-esque style. The earrings are fun.

I think it's pretty on you! I agree with yublocka, could we see it unbelted? Although the belt makes your waist look tiny, I think the style might work better unbelted.

Keep! No extra weight, bunching or fabric that I see. Earrings are great, just large enough to notice them, but not so large they compete with the top.

I actually really like it!! Gorgeous colour! I think I'd like to see it unbelted though. It seems to me the belt competes with the silver sequins a bit.

Hi all,

I was trying some outfits today while off sick from work (ick, change in the weather never agrees with me). I found this top hanging in the "to give away/burn at the stake" section of my wardrobe, and have been meaning to give it away with a heap of other stuff since I moved into my new place in November!

http://picasaweb.google.com/11.....3771813698

I pulled it out because it vaguely resembled the top Angie wore in this ensemble (see the middle pic):

http://youlookfab.com/2010/04/.....-giveaway/

I really liked the way she styled it, so I decided to try it with my top.

I didn't like the top because when I bought it, I was a little heavier and I saw a video of myself at a singing recital wearing it and thought it made me look a bit dumpy and bigger round the middle. I've lost a bit of weight since then and wonder if it looks alright now?

I cut off the original ties that tie up at the front and decided to wear it with a black waist cinching belt instead for better definition.

So, my questions:
(1) Does it make me look bigger round the middle?
(2) Does it drape ok (i.e. doesn't look bunchy or anything)?
(3) What do you think of the sparkly earrings with the sparkly neckline - too much sparkle all round in one region? I don't want to look like Saturday Night Fever!

Thanks!
