I would suggest, with the full culottes. a boxy cropped blouse with straight hem, in a stiff fabric - that stops at your waist - to break the volume into two shapes - top and bottom. In cooler weather, a chunky cropped sweater. Think angular cubism, not droopy louche. And chunkier shoes or flatforms if you like them.
