Right now we’re in SE Arizona, very near the border. And yes scanning would mean you could save it somewhere.  Perhaps my personal google drive is the place.  You must be a good sketcher if you are able to sketch outfit inspirations etc.  Yes I start to have my things in random scattered notebooks too and I'm afraid I will lose track of them eventually.  I used to write poetry as a child but lost all my notebooks.   Sal thank you.  I had a quick look at evernote and will investigate further.   Stagiaire Fash. But I used to write every day and would make wildlife sketches and sketches of good outfits seen in the wild. Now I occasionally just jot down stuff in random little scattered notebooks, vague gestures of recipes and quotes. Oh I did some collages in PowerPoint following along with the ‘Soul Collage’ thing. It was like a mix of inspiration board, memories and quotes.  I Now I download quotes on to my phone and store some stuff there.  I suppose it would be good to have a way to centralise stuff as I have lost it on one occasion.   The problem with the phone is that it runs out of storage.  Maybe I will continue to keep a paper one and scan some of that and add to a cloud copy somewhere.  I have been keeping it since 2002 so want to keep it safe.   Stagiaire Fash on "Visual Diaries" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/visual-diaries#post-2220640 Wed, 01 Sep 2021 01:04:51 +0000 Stagiaire Fash 2220640@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ I was curious about the visual diary when you mentioned it the other day. Before cell phone cameras, how did you record the visuals? Was it a mit if sketching and words? Now that we have these, I can see the issue of getting images & diary in the same place. I don’t see why it needs to be online though. The Notes app on iPhones lets you paste in photos and links, and you can draw in it too. Wouldn’t that work? Sally on "Visual Diaries" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/visual-diaries#post-2220607 Tue, 31 Aug 2021 21:53:49 +0000 Sally 2220607@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ That post on style markers got me thinking about the introduction of my visual diary.  Does anyone else keep a visual diary or diary of some sort?   I keep one with things like pictures, things I collect, quotes, books I have read, films I have seen, poetry, inspirational clothes, colours etc.  I also keep a yoga diary now as my yoga teacher said its a good idea to measure changes in your body energy level etc so that is now a part of my diary keeping.  Now I don't get paper magazines as much, its harder to put the pictures in.  I wonder if anyone keeps a private diary online and if there are any apps that support it.
