Too close but not close enough. </p> <p>Lisa, I had to think about that. I think post Covid and WFH I’m more an online shopper. Everything I’m wearing here was bought online. I don’t tend to shop with US retailers because their delivery and return prices are ridiculously expensive here. I usually shop Australian or with Euro/UK retailers. Spring because it’s Spring here. A cocktail party because I don’t have anything formal enough for a black tie event. </p> <p>I wanted to try styling my velvet flares for warmer weather. I was inspired by the Reiss velvet jumpsuit in pic 1. </p> <p>The rib top I am wearing is a bit of a compromise. It’s the only top I have that matches the flares enough for a jumpsuit look. A teal silk blouse would be dressier (clearly a wardrobe hole). But, in my real life, I think this combination could work for a Christmas drinks type event. We are not very formal here.</p> <p>If it turned cool I would wear my gold jacket. You can’t really see them, but my platform sandals are a dark metallic too. </p> <p>I am running late because I hope to get a hair cut and colour before I arrive. And maybe even a fake tan. I am so pale!</p> <p>Sally, please keep the champagne on ice </p>
