I have actually worn it and reaction is pretty much 80% totally unflattering, looks maternity, etc. and 20% cool. You are in the alternative minority (with me)! To clarify I have worn it but only at home for meals on the weekend when we only have family and close friends around. I was so excited and in a state of shock to find a Marni dress at a thrift store that mere suitability really did not come into my purchase consideration. I normally don't thrift hats (despite having a very high ick tolerance) but these were irresistible. They are by Mitzi Lorenz and are probably from the 50's or 60's. I had no idea when I bought them - but post-thrifting research is a lot of the fun for me.</p> <p>I put together outfit #1 to amuse myself and my kids - they immediately said I look like a cow - which was my idea! Believe it or not that is a Marni dress and the hat, shoes and dress together cost me less than $10. That tapped out my creativity and the other one is just my head.</p> <p>Sorry I will post and run - this is for amusement and thrifting interest. I am NOT planning to wear the outfit! </p>
