If you look at the line of the buttons, you have more " non button " fabric with the longer length and the proportion is better. Is the label on that coat Merin Brothers? I remember coats in that fabric from that era. Probably bought in the 1970s. Very warm and a classic piece, I think. </p> <p>Originally it was midi length, but too overwhelming on my petite frame so I got it hemmed. Last week I let the hem down as much as possible due to better insulating effect.</p> <p>Well, I think this length is pretty good. </p> <p>What do think? Do you like the shorter or longer version best?</p> <p>Do you find the collars ok or too large? </p>
