I have done that with a few tops that are cut just a bit too full in the body, when they fit well in the shoulder, bust and hip. It's very light but not sheer. I wear it with a navy skirt and white jacket for work. While I love the light feeling of silk, the first gives me a matronly look, while the second seems unflattering in the waist.
