Davys were easy to rule out for me:<br /> -they are heavy (one shoe weighs almost as much as the pair of Natashas).<br /> -the leather/suede is stiff<br /> -they are long and narrow<br /> -the dye has a toxic smell. I have run into a lot of very nasty smelling shoe dyes lately. With so much exposure to toxins, who needs another one when it can easily be prevented.<br /> -the sole is OK but not very grippy, I don't think it will be reliable for a good winter.<br /> That said, if you have a narrow foot and don't mind the smell or stiffness, they may work for you.
