I was hoping they would do for me (5'8 with a basic rectangular shape), but they didn't. While they flattered my shape, I didn't like the excess fabric, the drape and the elastic waist. Ick. I felt exactly like I was wearing pyjamas, and knew that no matter how I styled them, I would always feel like was wearing PJs. I knew they'd just sit in my closet. So back they went. That may not be a consideration for you.
