My midsection is definitely my problem area. Its hard to see in both pics but there is a triangle fake-pocket and then a hidden real pocket on the front of both sides. Should I keep as is, go with just a hidden pocket, or ditch the pockets altogether (or does that make it too boring?) See my dodgy sketch below for exactly what I mean.</p> <p>3) Also seen in sketch below is the existing hemline; there's a horizontal jump right where the buttons start. Is this usual on vests? If not I might just scrap it as I don't really see the point.
