I also like the interesting details, are these buttons? </p> <p>The vests have now arrived. They are both identical colour. The outlet had the same vest in stock under different product numbers, but they are the same product. The green is in person somewhere in between the darker and lighter in the photos, and it is a nice light olive green. Pretty neutral for me. I am unsure of the fit, as it is very straight and the armholes are very big. It is the opposite of sleek. I will have to try it properly layered in different outfits to asses proportions. In any case, it is not my usual kind of cut. The quality of the suede is great and it I’d nicely crafted - high quality. I also have an olive green vest with a drawstring waist, though it is a little more military in style with front pockets and a collar. I particularly like it with a pattern top underneath for contrast, like a striped Breton, or a black and white polka dot.</p> <p>Vests are really useful as a third piece that is less formal than a blazer but a bit sharper looking than a cardigan. In my opinion. The courier company then changed the delivery date to today and this afternoon the delivery was cancelled and postponed to uncertain date due to technical issues :-(<br /> Since I was already planning some outfits in my head full of expectations lol, I am sharing pictures with you.</p> <p>I am not a vest person, so this is a bit of a departure for me. I think this vest might work for me because it is cut like a blazer, it has lapels and it is possible to adjust the waist with the strings in the back. I like the fluid silhouette with a bit of structure. I also like the colour. I love leather and suede jackets, so the material and texture might be perfect for me. I also think it will be a versatile year around piece. Summertime styled with a thin top and trousers and wintertime perhaps over a knitted sweater or as layered under a thicker blazer or jacket, it will depend on the size and exact length. It might be nice over a knitted midi dress.</p> <p>I have a number of scarves which might pick up the green colour. I think the colour would work with almost all other colours. I can picure it with all neutrals, navy, red, burgundy, citron, bubble gum pink etc. The vest comes in two shades - see pics. I ordered both to try which one, if any, would work better, but they seem similar.</p> <p>I can picture it with my many pussy bow silky tops, but also with turtle necks and classic button down shirts.</p> <p>What do you think?<br /> Do you wear similar vests and how do you style them? All comments, thoughts and feedback are welcome. </p>
