I have a habit of catching my toe on uneven sidewalks and curbs, etc. I trip a lot. Just call me grace. Lots of my sandals in particular have damage right at the end of the toe. I must not pick up my feet high enough, or maybe I can blame it on my uneven legs (one an inch longer than the other). So I can commiserate even though I have no suggestions.

I have the same boots and have only worn them once so far (I hope they ease up on the next wear, because my feet hurt at the end of the day), but I wonder if a protective spray might be a good idea. I'll probably avoid wearing them in any kind of wet weather.

I would use a suede or fabric spray such as scotchguard for these. As these are velvet, I would also brush the velvet to clean them after wears. Whilst they may require a little more care, they are very beautiful and well worth the effort.

No help here. The toes are we're I tend to ruin shoes first. Kicking doors open or closed is usually how I do it. Then general clumsiness and my gait.

Those shoes you showed may be extra fragile. Is that textile or printed leather?
