I do own a couple of the traditional navy/white striped t-shirts and sweatshirts but they are never my go-to's. &nbsp;I like these linen tops and don't find the vertical stripes odd in any way. The ruffle one is a cotton blend, and the other a linen blend.&nbsp;</p> <p>Now&nbsp;there is some debate on whether vertical stripes are actually more slimming or not, but I have my doubts about that lol. I just simply enjoy them as a pattern all on their own, they have a certain simplicity and crispness that seems to suit my personal style.</p> <p><i><b>How do you feel about vertical stripes?
