I can only wear mine with skinny jeans (I have the black veronicas) otherwise I get a puffy business above the boot. Mine are very soft in the upper so I can push them down for a sloucy look<br />How are they on the injured foot? I have to say the color is growing on me. I don't have time to style them today but hope to tomorrow. I tried them quickly with the SBF's I'm wearing today and they don't work as well as hoped. I do think I am going to have to wear a slimmer jean with them. As for the color, the more I think about it (and after reading one of Lisa's NAS posts) I think the brown hues are going to be easier to style than a blue based grey. The burnishing gives them a slightly silvery cast which is hard to capture in a photo. Thanks for confirming the fit and style on me. I will try styling them tomorrow but my initial reaction is I love them and they are very comfy. The color is more brown to me than slate--which I imagined to be more grey. They are beautiful though. Will have to see how they play with jeans before I make any decisions. They will have to be 10's to keep. </p>
