I have two of them, and always dry them in the dryer (maybe 3x each so far). They seem tighter/more body con to me lately. I tried a new one on at Nordstrom a couple of weeks ago in the same size and I was more comfortable with the fit. I'm not sure if the fabric content is the same, but I think mine have indeed shrunk a bit.

I bought a couple of the skirts last summer in an L. After I washed and tumble dried them a few times--wash instructions do say tumble dry, but I just put them in for a few minutes) I sensed that they'd shrunk a bit. Later in the year I bought one in M. Just measured the M against the Ls and I don't think they shrank much. You could try drying them until they are completely dry.

I would give it a try. If that doesn't work it might be quite easy to tailor - you could probably get away with one side seam being taken in.

HA! I was thinking of that thread, too.

I'm hoping someone can tell me if they have experience with this skirt, but you're right, I should just try. Now if only I had a dryer in my house!! LOL

I, along with many other YLF'ers it seems, own several of the VC tube skirt. I've lost some weight and now it doesn't have the same fit as it used to. I don't dry many items, so mine have never gone through a dryer cycle.

My question is: has anyone dried theirs and experienced shrinkage? Or is the fabric so great that it retains it's original size?

I am really hoping I can shrink them bc I have grown to LOVE these skirts.

Thanks so much for your input!!
