I love these for warmer weather. IMO, the solid black is more versatile, but it goes with an amazing variety of tops. Like was already mentioned, sleeveless tops - especially high-low styles - work well, as do sleeveless tops and light blazers for cooler or work environments. From Nordies, why not order it and then try to style it at home? I have 3 (!) skirts like this from metalicus (an Australian brand). I find them very useful in summer. I wear with sleeveless loose high low tops (hitting at the hip at the front and lower at the back) or sleeveless drapey wrap tops. For what it's worth I prefer the printed ones (I have a plain black one but I wear that the least) but that could just be a personal preference.
