And I too am smitten by the pink. Although my coloring is more on the warm side than cool, this pink works as a very doable nude for me.</p> <p>I hadn't even thought of trying the half size down, because these are already the smaller of the two sizes I normally wear (I normally wear a 6.5, sometimes a 6). It's extremely rare for me to wear a 5.5, but it does happen once in a blue moon. They are SO comfy...they remind me of the Okalas. The only problem is that the vamp is too roomy from top to bottom; i.e., I can easily fit an entire finger between the top of my foot and the vamp. I could try to close up the gap by putting in some cushions beneath the ball of my foot, but the shoes feel a little less comfortable with the thick cushions inside (plus, the cushions make my foot sweat). </p> <p>For those of you who have run into this problem, do you just return the shoes? Or does the leather, as it softens, get less dome shaped and create a better fit across the top of the foot? </p>
