Your time with your grandson sounds both delightful and educational. It brings back memories, too. My dad loved to write clues and send us on scavenger hunts. I carried on that tradition and did scavenger hunts with clues for our children every Christmas (still do). I love the idea of planning some scavenger hunts with my grandson this summer! Thanks for the great idea!<br /> Toban, I am sooooo lucky! My children both decided to live locally and we spend a lot of time together. Having designated days to make plans for my grandson is a true gift. Lots of other opportunities will come up, but the two days are what I consider “my time “ because everyone else is working. My 3-year old grandson is enjoying scavenger hunts on a walk or in the yard. He gets a list and zip loc bag or sand pail. Just an idea. He also likes clues. One clue leads to the next and finally to a small treat...cookie or toy car. It is a good way to practice prepositions, in the oven, on the bed, under the bath mat, etc. it also is an incentive to practice his reading skills. A colleague gave me this coffee mug prior to wishing me a wonderful break. At the very least, the mug is good for a morning grin. Yes, I am blessed and will be inspired to dress my best self daily!<br /> Tuesdays and Thursdays will be dedicated to adventures in grandparenting, as those are my days for babysitting (as well as any other opportunities I may get)!<br /> Here is today’s Grandmother on the Go outfit. I followed suggestions to tuck this top. I think I like it better. No guarantees that it will stay tucked, but I think I am off to a good start.<br /> I like the longer length shorts and will see how clean they are at the end of the day. I am feeling brave and if things go south, well, there is always bleach.<br /> Currently I am enjoying the gift of a leisurely start to the day....maybe I’ll celebrate with two cups of coffee while I watch the deer graze in the back field.</p> <p>Have a lovely day! </p>
