They got a lot of wear for a few years so I'm not mad, but it's an inconvenient time for sure. I don't want to risk that they give up on me during the holiday... I then went on a hunt for the Tevas. I found them, but I can't wear them. They're ten years old and it seems like my feet are much wider now. I have decided to just go and buy new Birkenstock sandals, they're the only shoes that I know will be comfortable. Unfortunately they don't offer my sandals anymore, I will need to buy the ones with the wide straps. Oh well. Maybe they'll have a color different than black. I'm definitely going to ask if they have anything else in my size, but in the end being able to walk is more important than style. I do think the jeans will be alright - the weather forecast for Germany and Austria isn't that great. And I don't like to wear the cropped jeans with sneakers, only with the sandals. So I wouldn't have a colder weather outfit at all without the skinnies. Lightweight cotton pants sound nice in theory, but you're right that I don't have pair. I'm fine with skinnies though. If I wear sandals with long jeans I find them comfortable for everything under 24-25°C, depending on sun/wind. I am still undecided on the sandals... Same with the scarf. I don't have one that works well with all the clothing I'm packing. My mum might have something that would work though, I think I'll have a look at home. And I'm also one who always packs a wool pullover, but then I usually holiday somewhere in Central or Northern Europe. In this case it would be wasted space I think... </p> <p>Sara, my blue bikini bit the dust, unfortunately. I have the bottoms of the one above twice though because I duplicated when they were on sale for around 7€. The other option would be to pack another bikini top I still have, the one below. But, I don't have nice bottoms for that one. My sister still has my old black swimshorts which would probably fit me and look okay with the top part, but the combination is much less pretty and flattering than the other one. But I guess I could pack it to be on the safe side. And that makes totally sense with the cover-up, if you wear your swimwear as clothing! I would feels strange cooking or sitting around at home eating in just my bikini too. I guess for me that never came up because I only change into my swimwear to, you know, go swimming. Even on the beach I'm not one to laze around all the time in my swimwear. Probably because back when we spent longer on the beach (small children) we always were at the North Sea and there you get dressed quickly after swimming or you'll freeze. And I don't tan, I just burn. So I don't need to wear it for sunbathing either. </p> <p>Oh and I had a brilliant idea today how I might solve my problem with having to few tees/tops - I should fit both my sister's and my brother's stuff. I'll just have a look after they have packed if I would like to take anything to wear with the shorts. And even if there isn't anything, I think it's going to be fine.
