When I purchased it, Angie said no to a cardigan over the dress - too much knit. I've had to work with other items to make it more cold weather appropriate. The only sweaters that I had last a long time are merino wool. Everything else seems to pill quickly. Now that I think about it, I can't quite picture what a polyester sweater would be like - I thought it would be like nylon... I might try it if it was otherwise perfect, but the short sleeves, light weight, and acrylic fabric aren't going to work.I'm also not sure about that skirt. Is it double layered?
