Hi Rae,

That's a great idea, thank you! I can cut off the leather strip that holds the "buckle". I just need to hunt down something that can be used as a zipper pull for the back pocket, then I can take off the black leather strip from the back pocket zipper and move it to the front. Thanks for the solution!

I love love love my Tignanello for traveling, and I think this one is better for you than #4, style-wise as well as security-wise. Does it look like you can remove the zipper pull and replace it with something you like better? Maybe just a plain strip of leather or a simple keychain?

I really love my crossbody bag for travelling and everyday. I think you will be happy with it. I do hear you about the buckle. That would bother me, too. It seems very difficult to get bags now without some kind of obnoxious hardware.

I think the new black bag is great - it has a lot of style but it's not over flashy.
It's hard to see the coat in the pics you've posted. The front zipper doesn't seem to lie straight, but maybe that's just how it's catching the light.

Makrame, I don't think it's a terrible bag at all! It's just not as cute & snappy as the smaller one. Somehow it looks too big to be worn as a crossbody - maybe it was ok as a shoulder bag...?

I forgot to mention that I like the brown suede bag too! But you're right - it might be too cumbersome to carry while doing a lot of walking & sightseeing! It's probably really helpful as a carry-on, though, so you could fit a lot of things in it!

Enjoy your trip!

Helen, I have to agree with you about bag #4. Every time I look at that photo, I go, "What was I thinking when I bought it?" I guess that's why it is still in a good shape; I did not wear it all that much.

Black bag #1 is a keeper. I don't think it "lacks character" at all...I like the crossbody style, it's comfortable and convenient, and this one is simply "classic". Will match pretty much anything! I'm sure you will use it constantly!

I don't like bag #4 at all, especially as a crossbody.

The Miss Sixty jacket looks very practical and fine - keep if you need it for casual everyday wear!

I've been looking for a crossbody bag that I could use while traveling. I wanted a lightweight and fairly small bag, secure closure (preferably zipper), and a neutral color that goes with everything. The two crossbody bags I have (red and brown, pics 5 and 6) are nice, but I would worry about getting the red bag dirty while traveling, and the brown bag is too big for walking around all day.

I found this Tignanello bag, first online at http://www1.macys.com/catalog/.....ryID=27803 , and finally bought it at TJMax. It still has tags and is returnable. The only thing that bothers me is the "buckle" with Tignanello name on the front pocket zipper so I am even considering wearing it with the other side turned forward, as in picture #2. You can see the bag better in the last photo from Zappos. Picture #4 is an alternative - that's a bag I bought a few years ago when all I wanted was a completely "neutral" leather bag. It's a Gianni Bernini bag from Macys, I could just use that for travel. It sort of lacks "character", is not quite my style any more, and the closure is not as secure but if Tignanello bag is not a "10", I could get by with the Gianni Bernini bag.

The last two pictures are of Miss SIxty coat. I am trying to figure out if it looks a bit snug. If it looks OK, I will probably keep it since I don't have a similar weight/length coat in my wardrobe.

Edited to add: pictures 1-3 and 9 are of the same Tignanello bag (that's the "keep or return" item); it's worn "right side out" in #1 and 3 and "back side out" in 2. #9 shows the slightly obnoxious buckle on the pocket zipper.
