Mine hit me much higher up.</p> <p>One word of caution, they will shrink in length if you wash at home. They are plenty roomy. They are generously cut, even in the waist. I think the length will be fine for you. I have a pair of these and I don't think I sized down enough, mine just kind of puddle around my ankles --though much of that is owing to my short legs I still love them, but would have preferred the effect in the photo.
