If I hadn't read that comment about them being smaller than usual I wouldn't have hesitated with the size. They are a 7 M. They are a bit on the long side for me, but I added an insole. My regular size is 6.5 to 7....depending. Typically in boots I will wear a 7 because I think the extra room is good for circulation, keeping toes warmer. </p> <p>In Eccos I wear a 37, if that helps? </p> <p>Those are great boots for you! I have owned a couple of Timberlands and tried on many. I have found them to not be consistent. The two pairs that I have, I sized up half a size. I find that I have to do that anyway with European sizes, for some reason. If they turn out to be a little to big, you could use cushy inserts. They still have them in size 38,5 and I normally wear a size 38. It says that they run one size smaller than usual though.
