Okay, I ordered them just now! I so hope they will work out. :)

Thanks Isabel! I don't think they will be too big, it is more likely that they might end up being too small. I hope they are a bit bigger so that I can wear warm socks with them.

Thanks Kelly! I definitely want a robust boot that is practical as well as stylish and I think they look like they might fit the bill. #

Thanks Suz! It's a US 7,5 and I normally wear 38. If I hadn't read that comment about them being smaller than usual I wouldn't have hesitated with the size. But bigger wasn't available anymore, so hopefully this will work!

Thanks JAileen!

I have a couple of pairs of Timberland boots bought in the last year or so. Both are short lace up types, and both are true to size.

I have some Timberlands, Astrid. They are a 7 M. They are a bit on the long side for me, but I added an insole. My regular size is 6.5 to 7....depending. Typically in boots I will wear a 7 because I think the extra room is good for circulation, keeping toes warmer.

In Eccos I wear a 37, if that helps?

Those are great boots for you! Hope you get them.

I have a pair of 20 year old Timberlands and are true to size--not much help. I hope Una will chime in--I think she has some too. Love the color and the ruggedness of the boot. I think it will fit in with your Bohemian, arty and slightly preppy style. The color will be fab with your hair!

Those are beautiful !!! I have owned a couple of Timberlands and tried on many. I have found them to not be consistent. The two pairs that I have, I sized up half a size. I find that I have to do that anyway with European sizes, for some reason. If they turn out to be a little to big, you could use cushy inserts. I have done that to a pair of boots too.

GOOD LUCK !

I've stumbled across these Timberland boots when I was searching for a new bookending pair. They still have them in size 38,5 and I normally wear a size 38. It says that they run one size smaller than usual though. Those with Timberland boots, is that always the case and did you need to size up?

Also, could you see these for me?

(There's only one pair left.)
