Many times I post them, but there's plenty of times when I don't. I like photos to help me see color or fit of an outfit, but a pose and lighting can make a HUGE difference as well. That's why professional photographers are always using tons of lights in their studios and why models are usually at some kind of angled pose in photos, even stock photos for clothing. Photos are helpful but they are only a guide for me, not the final determining factor. The light and proportions are off. Shadows play havoc too. Sooooo, don't be too fast to judge them. Photos lie :)</p> <p>Also, when we try a new-to-us look, seeing it in the mirror can be a bit of a shock. Like seeing yourself on video for the first time. It's a bit like an out-of-body experience. Other people are generally more objective. Hence when I am unsure about something new - I ask hubs Greg what he thinks.&nbsp;</p> <p>ETA: the more pics and videos you take of yourself and of others, the easier and better it becomes!</p> <p>AND!!
